Suggestions for a single 15

I have a JBL D140F in a 3.5 cu ft ported cabinet that I use with Eden 2x10s. The amps are an Eden tube top and an Eden ss top.

I have an identical 1x15 cabinet and I want to try something besides JBL or Altec, which is all that I've used for 40+ years. The speaker will be used with the 2x10s and together as a 2x15 with the single JBL. If I really need some juice the 2 single 15s will be used alongside a 2x15 with Altec 421As as an extension using the Eden tube top or as a slave with a Crown DC300A amplifier. I also have a Fender Showman head and a Fender Bassman cabinet with 2 JBL D140Fs.

Given the circumstances what would you choose as a stand alone speaker and/or in combination with the others? I've looked at Peavey Black Widows and various Eminence bass speakers but it's just numbers.

I rarely use the Altecs and I'm tempted to use one of them but this is an opportunity to try something new if it's worth it.
