Sunn 2000s Death Cap?

I recently got a 1972 Sunn 2000s head and just upgraded the power supply to a grounded three prong. Does anyone know if that era of Sunn heads have the legendary "Death Cap" that needs to be bypassed? Any other parts that i need to check out to ensure that it is road ready?

The notion of the 'Death Cap' is pure myth. If your tech knows what he's doing he left the cap in there connecting the live and neutral lines, for noise filtering.
