SUNN 200S W/ MATCHING 2x15 CAB

Sign in to disble this ad
Is $650 a decent price?
With heavy "semi-uncommon" gear like this it's hard to get a feel for prices by looking at Ebay and what not because it's so expensive to ship beasts like this.
While I wouldn't haul the cab to every gig, I've been considering going this route with a head for some of my gigs.

Any thoughts?

Thanks gang!!

Condition is "good-very good" cosmetically. It supposedly sounds great. The amp doesn't look modded at all.
It does have JBL's, yes.

Be prepared to sink a couple hundred more bucks in a rig like that. Its old and capacitors dry out just sitting there. You will love that beast if it is working properly.

I know, right?!

I've played out of a 200s, 2000s, and a Sorado.... just a couple hours ago I played a set in NYC and a sunn (fender) 300t was the backline.... it can't hold a candle to the real sunn amps!

A similar stack in mint condition recently sold on Ebay for $1095 (local pickup, so no shipping). It had previously been listed and not sold, so the market is probably a little thin.

Be sure and get covers made for it if you're going to gig it.

It's a good deal.

that one was real beauty, and IMO a very good deal for it.
i mean, a vintage, high quality point-to-point, hand built and great sounding tube amp, in excellent shape with a 2x15 JBL cab for $1100 is a ture bargain in my book.
