Sunn 300t vs bassman 300 pro

Hey guys bass players and electronics tech

I would like to know the thruth....!!!

Did the sunn 300t and the bassman 300pro is the same amp or not

Please your advice and hints

Yes, they are the same amp. Fender was still using the Sunn brand when the amp was new, when the brand was phased out they kept the amp in production with a change of name.

I know that. ...but some people said the sound and the quality of the components of the bassman was not as well than the sunn. Thru or fals???

well, i've repaired one Sunn 300T and two Bassman 300 pro's, and inside, they were the same circuits and amps. they may have used a few different brands of componets due to the availablity of them, but they all sounded the same after i repaired/serviced them.

They are the same amp, manufactured by the same company in the same factory.

'Sunn' at this time only existed as a brand name owned by Fender. Their is no 'Sunn' version and 'Fender' version, it was always made by Fender.
