sunn beta 402

I have the chance to get a 402 beta cab 4x12. i know this was a guitar cab. 100 watts.4 ohms

it has 2 wrecked speakers anyways? so i was thinking of making it into a bass cab with new speakers. would new drivers be needed?

my dream would be to use it for both bass and guitar since the 200s i use is great with both.

Sunn 402 for bass?

It worked just fine for me. I used it by itself or with the 2x15 if I really needed more dB.

Cost?

It's worth what you think it's worth.

If you need to make a grill and replace all the speakers, it won't be cheap. If you need to replace 2 or 3, ya might as well replace all four, because you have no way of knowing if new and old will play nice together.

I have no idea what drivers are right for this enclosure.

Best of luck.
