SUNN concert bass repair parts

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone have any info on where to find replacement driver transformers for the SUNN concert bass amp or what can be used for a substitute? Note: The concert amp uses transformers in the output driver stage, not transistors and I am looking for replacement parts for them. I am an amp tech but looking for a parts source. Thanks

Driver transformers?

Like the power transformer? Or Transistor drivers...

Not sure what you are asking for. If its a power transformer, not sure where to look for that.

But if its transistors, if you can get the code, there is a chance you can find a more recent substitute.

Or if you're an EE you can design/back engineer what is in there to take a new kind. But that is not simple nor is it easily taught.

So, point of the post.. take it to an amp tech, go from there.

I'm pretty sure the driver transformers are unavailable. Sunn Concert Bass amp does kick ass when compared to similar models from other manufacturers, new or old.
