I think it's from the 1975 to 1979 time frame, it'd be the bass equivalent of the Stage Lead amp which was solid-state (no tubes).

Maybe a cool unit if it was cheap, but freight is gonna cost a fortune to get that thing shipped to you. And at this age it really should be serviced, a recap would be in order so that should be factored into the bidding price should you choose to bid on it.

thanks, bill

it was in memphis with local pick up only. if it was tube i might have tried to negotiate the 300.00 price down and driven to pick it up, but not interested.

the guy already responded that it was SS.

i am only interested in tube amps at this point so i did not negotiate with the guy

$300 seems an awful lot for a mid-70's SS 1x15 combo even without factoring in the drive to Memphis. (The Nashville CL had a Peavey Max 115 combo for $200 obo yesterday and it'd likely play just as good or not better than that old Sunn.)

CL also has a 1969 Sunn 200S rig that's been posted on there several times for 8 bills, if you want to tote around a refridgerator...

i don't mind toting the weight, but for 800.00 i'll wait. i want to get my son a good tube amp, and if that means a separate head/cab or a combo, i'm open to discussion, but i'll wait until the right thing comes along.
