Sunn Tranducer 412 good for bass?

I have a Sunn Transducer 412 with mixed Eminence speakers, and an Ampeg V7. Both these are "made" for guitar (have read that the V7 is just as good a bass amp) but was wondering if the cab would do well with bass. I was thinking of also running it with a 2x15.

With mixed speakers, probably not. And running it from the same amp as the 2x15 is probably not advisable either. If you are doing the dual rig thing, it should be happy for the driven/high end side. First thing would be to get a matching set of speakers, unless you are the same guy from the forever doomed forum, I hear Vintage 30s are good in that, and I like them for guitary bass.
