That is a Sunn CONCERT, and 200w or so TRANSISTOR amplifier.
Now, a 2000's... that'd be a good deal!

Haha a friend of mine sold a 2000s to help fund his wedding.
I hate hate HATEEEE how Sunns have blown up so ridiculously disproportionate to what they put out.
I wouldn't spend more than MAYYYYBE $200 on the head, and about the same on the cab. My Sunn colliseum bass cost me $125 in 2001, and just last year i was offered that same Sunn 2x15 for $150.
$1000 for that is straight up stupid.
Shoot, i had a friend get a Sunn 2000s and 2 4x12s for just $1100 last year.

I loved playing Sunn amps for a while because they sounded pretty good and were dirt cheap. So I didn't feel so bad when they blew up. I've still got a fried Concert Bass somewhere in my warehouse. |

I have one... a good gnarly sound, but it runs out of gas after "4" on the volume control.
Silly, silly price. |

It would make a good practice amp for home or a coffee shop amp but for a little more you could pick up a used Genz Shuttle 3 or Neo which would be much better. |

The thing is , it sounds like bait to me. For $1000, you can do a whole lot better. Guess he wants to keep it.................... |

Don't believe it? See: Acoustic 360/1 thread.
