Svetlana tube codes?

Sign in to disble this ad
Is there a way to find out when Svetlana's were made? I have a sextet from my SVT that I threw on an auction site and would like to be able to say when they were made.

On the tubes are... "9741" on four and the other two have "9743", all have "OTH 59" and "Made in Russia". They're 6550 C.

Thanks in advance!

maybe "OTK 59"? it is stamp of QA department

mine tubes have time code 0607 - June 2007 (tubes with circular holes in plates - "S" Svetlana)

your tubes have square plate holes? (=C= Svetlana with different time codes)

heh, it looks like SED anode construction and time code but with "S" logo. Never seen such tube before

usually "S" looks like this, with three circular holes and obvious time code

in any case I can't tell you date of manufacture
