SVT 2 PRO RACK OPTIONS!?!?!

Sign in to disble this ad
Something has already rattled lose inside my svt 2 pro because of me stupidly putting it on top of the 410hlf with no rack. Im deciding between putting it in a rack and leavin it on top of my cab. Or putting it in a bigger rack with wheels and just leaving the head on the side of my amp. Any suggestions? The big rack with wheels woudl be good because the amp would not feel the giant vibration udnerneath it, however it would be a bigger thing to lug around. Smaller rack could go right on top, but will still be vibrated.

Anyone? Also, whats the smallest space size rack that the svt 2 pro can fit in?? Is it a 4 space rack amp? Im not sure!

I don't have it anymore, but my SVT-II was mounted in a simple 4 space rack with a hole cut in the side under one handle for the fan. I used a piece heavy foam (Camping pad) between the amp and cab. Or you can go with an isolator like this under your head:

Mine was in a Road Runner 4U rack when I got it. Filled it completely. I just put it in a Road Runner 6U with a Furman power conditioner and a Korg DTR-2000 tuner. The 6U is filled completely with all that.
