I currently have a svt 410HLF with an svt 3 pro. I play a 6 string bass with a custom low F# string. sometimes i feel that my low end is lacking some punch. just wondering if i pair my cab with an svt 15e would it clear up my low end?

from my experience (and a lot of others on TB) with the 410HLF, the "low end" is not the problem. It puts out really deep frequencies and a lot of output in the that area. It is very muddy in comparison to other makes. What it lacks is lowish mids and punch altogether. My advice -which i can't comment on F#, or even B - is that you look into another 4ohm SEALED 4X10

Besides, the 3Pro is 4 ohms minimum, and the 410hlf is 4 ohms. Not only would the pairing be a huge mismatch, it would also be unhealthy for your amp.

My HLF was huge on low end, pairing with a 15 would just over shadow the 15, i doubt you would hear much of it, or it would have to work to hard. I would look into some kind of EQ pedal.

When i played with HLF i bought a parametric EQ pedal that i used to either cut the really low boomy-ness or depending on the venue boost the low mids to add punch.

Maybe give that a go? The cab can do it it just needs some help...
