I'm leaning towards picking this amp up, I've tried in the store and really liked but couldn't turn in up to gig-level volumes. What I'd like to do is run this amp clean, then use a od pedal (not sure which one yet) to get some grit when I'd like some. I'm not expecting hi-fi like clean tones, but I'd like to get at least a usable one. |

| | | | I would say they run pretty clean. Depending on the bass you are using and they way you eq the amp and where the compression is set it shouldn't get any dirt till past noon. I run mine with the gain around 2 o'clock and the comp barely at 9. SVT warmth, not dirty. |
