With the Aussie dollar even stevens with the US$ and with the approval of the ministry of finance (Wifey), I'm about ready to grab an SVT from the US for use in Australia.
I would like a VR but it's just a little out of reach atm so I'm looking at a US made CL-AV.
Does anybody know if they have input taps for 240V? I know the Viet CL's do but not sure on the AV.
These things cost as much as a new car in Oz so importing is the way I need to go to make it happen. |

I think you're looking at $1200 to $1500 used. Guitar Center's used section online is a great place to look, but I don't know if they'll ship to AU...

I don't know about SVT-AVs, though I assume it's the same as I believe they are the same guts, just different looks.
Also, not all 70s SVTs have taps for 240v. |
