Where is the plug/connection for the fan of a svt cl?

It's somewhere in there ;) Open it up and trace it down. Should be super easy to find.

Back access or does the front grill come off easily?

It's in the front right behind the fan itself. For access you either need to remove the back grill and the power tubes, or you can pull the 4 screws from the top and ease out the preamp.
