SVT Classic connecting equalizer & alternative to effects loop question

Sign in to disble this ad
I was wondering if you can use the preamp out or power amp in to connect a graphic equalizer and or use either for an effects loop? If not what is the best course of action to connect a graphic eq so it will affect the amp it's self and bass. Instead of having and eq pedal in my pedal chain changing my basses sound before it hits my amp. also is it possible to get something like an effects loop using the preamp out poweramp in?

Any help would be great!

Yes preamp out and poweramp in is your effects loop. I run a BBE 31band eq through my CL. You can also use a seperate preamp like a sansamp and plug it directly into the power amp in jack if you want to completely bypass the heads pre section.
