Svt III help II
 

I was having trouble with my svt 3 sending scratchy signal thru my cabs thought id clean the pots and the tube sockets only got worse now theres a smell im sure its the deoxit burning off, ( i let it dry for 24 hours ) the scratchy sound only seemed to get worse and it happenes even when im not turning the knobs,short on bread for the tech man rite now and have a four set gig this sat. HELP plz :help: :crying:

Unfortunately, a good amp tech is your best hope. If you don't own the proper equipment to test and diagnois amp troubles, your chances of "fixing" this amp are much less than the chance you'll cause further, more expensive damage.
