SVT3 No Output Signal

I have a Mid 80's SVT Pro 3. I have just started having trouble with it. I get no sound.

ampout works, DI works and different speaker cable. It works great, but then when you need it most no sound.

93, 98 and 2005 I put in new tubes.

If I unplug Bass and plug it back in, some if not most of the time it will work again.
I had the amp all apart checked for cold solder joints or anything strange, but it looks good.

What do I check next? or give up and send it in?

Try cleaning the effects loops jacks before sending it in. Sometimes they can get corroded and short out your input. If that doesn't work, then your best bet really is to send it in.

Thanks JimmyM: Did that (cleaning the effects loops Jacks) this morning 24th and it has been non stop sound. Also when I play live I am wireless so I mic cab and use a DI box and mix both sounds. The cable I use from the DI to amp input had a cold solder joint that I also found this morning. When I run just a cable I was getting the sound drop out and that seem to be working fine now.
Thanks again

Nice! Glad it worked. And +1 on the micing. I don't even use a DI if I can help it anymore. Had to on today's gig but it was using rented stuff.

Um, all amps are sensitive to bad cables.
