SWR 350 (Red Face)

Was wondering is the SWR 350 is a good amp to use with my Ampeg SVT 410He and 115E stack?

Is a 350watt Hybrid head i guess.

I got a offer to straight swap this amp with my little mark 250.

Good deal?

Not sure what you'd gain in the swap, (100 watts is nothing in terms of volume)- so it just depends on which amp you think sounds better. As to the cabs, again, that's up to you whether or not you like how it'll sound.

is a hybrid amp with tube preamp, because i've never play a hybrid before and the SWR sound decent on the review.

I don't think you'll have enough power to drive both the 410 and the 15. I would consider either a 2x10 + 15 or just the 4x10. The 2x10 and 15 is classic SWR.

the bass 350 is a great sounding amp if a bit of a one trick pony. very clean yet warm. the best part of this amp though is crazy solid reliability

The Bass 350 will drive 2 ohm loads at 450W, so that may (or may not) be an advantage over your current amp.

I have had a few over the years and I like them. A bit underpowered compared to my 600W Epifani, but it's plenty big for most of the gigs I do.

Yeah i was thinking about that. I got another offer which is a Warwick Xtream 5.1 which is a 500watt solid state amp. or i should just get a orange bass terror 500 for hybrid.

It was a good amp, but not so loud.
It should sound fine with both cabs, but I'm afraid it would be too quite with just one cab.
You'll probably be taking always both cabs to gigs

The SWR 350 is short on headroom but big on hyped hi fi tone(if that's what your into), all around quality & overall kewlness. If your cabs are 8 ohm cabs, the 350 will push them fine, but again, you'll be limited on headroom. Remember- the SVT is only 300W, and it's generally paired with at least one 8x10" cab, and watts are watts. So, just don't be a fool w/the EQ.
That said, I'm not sure how much you'll gain over the LM250, as it's a pretty comparable head.
