What do you mean by "work"? Will the 1001RB power the Megoliath? Of course it will. Will it sound good? Maybe; it depends on what you're looking for.

Quick reminder:

ANY AMP WILL POWER ANY SPEAKER CABINET, ASSUMING THAT IMPEDANCES AND JACKS LINE UP.

You can run a 100 watt cabinet with a 1000 watt amp. You just have to keep the volume down.

You can run a 1000 watt cabinet with a 100 watt amp, you just won't be able to get the full power out of the cab.

Well i know that both the head's will be able to power this monster of a 8x10 but i need to know if the GK or the SWR will have enough kick to it so that the head wont have to stress it's self to put out the wattage needed for the cabinet.

Well, the obvious answer there is that the GK, which has twice the wattage, will have more headroom than the SWR.

Also, again, there is no "minimum" wattage rating on 99.999% of cabinets. The only time I have ever seen that was on Basson cabs, but they are not around anymore.

Not a fan of GK at all, but I don't think the SWR350x is the right solution either.

What you really need is to be able to find a SM500 or SM900
SH, but out of your choices listed, I'd go for that GK

The 1001rb-II will easily power that cab to the fullest and it will do it with headroom to spare, it is a very loud amp, also GK and SWR cabinets work well together, there's another talkbass member with that same exact rig & he seems happy with it.

The 350 is not enough. SM-400 on up but really a Bass 750, 900 or the GK.
