Hey everybody.
The time has come for me to purchase an amplifier and some cabs
I really like using my VT bass as a preamp and i think im gonna try the swr amplite 400w poweramp (less is genious) and a 4x10 or 2x12
Any intel on this? Other poweramps I should consider?
thanks!

Between the two which one produces more *grit*?

I decided to get this one since I already have a LMIII
both are very nice amps and the GK can sound clean if you want to

Petros, for your needs all you need is an amp with an effects return, I assume the PF500 has it (I didnt look at the time), The MB500 has it too. So really the question is what can you get for the cheapest?

| | | | swr golight Looking for a punchy 1x15 and thinking the SWR or the Ashdown 115. Like the 4x 10s but need more grunt for small/medium gigs.
Anyone recommend a good 1x15? |

The Amplite was louder than the Headlite and took to my VT bass a lot better than the Headlite. Being able to tap directly into the power of the the Amplite makes all the difference in the world. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
