SWR Big Ben / Bag End

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone know when the SWR Big Ben stopped using the Bag End 18" speaker? I am selling one in the classifieds and want to be sure I accurately advertise it. I bought it in the early to mid 90s.

Thanks in advance!

A great height,
It would probably have been somewhere around 1992, since they replaced the Bag End speakers in the original Baby Blue 2x8, with Celestions in version II of that amp, around that time

I am not entirely sure of the year of the cab (I can't find a serial on it and don't clearly remember when I bought it) BUT I did get off my lazy toosh and peeked in through one of the ports. This does have the Bag End in it, huzzah. I figured it did as it sounds amazing. If I weren't moving, I'd likely be keeping it.
