The GOOD thing is that there is a ton of used gear on the market and no matter what, I will ALWAYS play SWR. I've tried pretty much every cab worth trying (yes, Bergies, etc) and SWR always wins for me.
I am glad to have a few SWR stacks.
My Super Redhead is my #1 go to gig rig. I don't need anymore but maybe an SWR 410 underneath it for louder shows.
SWR just sounds right... |

I honestly don't mind, was thinking about taking the workingmans badge off as well and ordering a black grill (or painting the existing) for the GIII

I've been looking for one to replace my black WM grill, so I can have a matched chrome pair. ...PM me?

| | | I just purchased a used--great condition, stored a long time--SWR Workingman's 15in 160/200 Combo. I got it for $150.00. That is the best deal on a combo I could find after shopping for 2 months. My question: Will adding an extension speaker cab help with volume at all? I hope that I will have enough power for rehearsing with a band, and with the help of a PA, I hope to gig...will I be OK? If I can get by for now with this small investment I will be truly grateful Thanks in advance! |

Expensive to fix- maybe, but that'll depend on how bad you wanna keep it.

| | | | So far I am impressed at how much amp I got for 150 bucks. I thought I missed out on a better deal when I saw an add for a 160/200 for $140. Turns out it was the head only, so I am better of with the combo. Thank you for the feedback! |

still a bummer though. I was hoping they were going to update the headlite. I have it and the golight 410 4ohm. While this is a killer setup it would be nicer to have an updated version with a bit more headroom.
