| I owned both the 2x10 and 4x10 Goliath III cabinets, and sold both of them when the Golights came out. But for a few weeks I owned all four (see pic). I can tell you that I much prefer the newer ones. They are not only lighter, but they sound better to me. They have a bit more at 40-60hz, and less "clank" in the horn. Both of these are improvements to me. Power-handling wise, they seem the same. I also sold my Aguilar gs112 (left side of pic), as it weighed more than 2x10 Golight, and didn't sound as good. |
