It will, in one configuration.
I do give SWR credit for being the first (i think) MF to offer their mini head in poweramp only format, and making the units slaveable. If I won the lotto, I'd get 8. |

| | | | I agree with all of you. I searched all over SWR's website, and found nothing of the sort. I just wanted to make sure with any/everyone who's looked at'em that it was what I thought. Thank you all.
P.S. I also agree with MF being wrong too. |

MF made no claims about connectivity or bridging that would make them wrong.

If I recall my physics correctly, in series the power should add just about add. Then, if you connect the amplite to the headlite and connect one speaker to the amplite, you'll get 800 Watts out of one 4-ohm speaker (less out of an 8-ohm speaker). You won't get anymore than 800 watts in any configuration. If you connect two 8-ohm speakers to the amplite, you'll get 400 Watts out of each. The question is, if connect the amplite to the headlite and then connect one speaker to the amplite and one speaker to the headlite, what power will you get from each speaker? |
