SWR SM400s power input help

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi all, I have bought this amp head from the states (I'm in Australia) and the amp runs 120volt to the best of my understanding, and Australian power is 240 volt, will I need some sort of transformer or will it convert by itself?

Thanks, Jack

no it does not convert itself but I think that amps produced before 98 or 99 can be converted. Check the swr webside, I think they have some information on this
