80% of the speaker manufacturers do very little to properly tune drivers to their boxes, and the 20% that do have price tags to match the care taken to. I wouldn't be ridiculously concerned with specs, but you have to be in the ballpark.
I threw a B102 into a little Ashdown Perfect 10 40W and after a brief break in the little bastard sings like never before, tighter, deeper and louder. The B102 is a nicely voiced speaker that hasn't got the scooped out mids of so many other 10 inchers. I would rather give up a little off the bottom and have a stout midrange.
Having said that, getting the 2 offending drivers reconed would likely be your best option, as you know what the final product will sound like.
