| I had one a while back. I bought it for 200 dollars. Mine was in mint condition. I think they can be had for less these days. You don't see too many.
For 500$ I'd grab that in a heartbeat, the cab alone is worth that and it looks to be in good condition. I'd keep the 4004 as a backup for the 800rb.
As far as sound goes, the workingman 4004s to me we're pretty sterile. They can get quite loud with lots of speakers. I found the EQ wasn't to my taste and had trouble dialing in a tone I would have used in a recording situation.
