SWR WorkingPro 12

I used a SWR WorkingPro Bass Amp. Worked pretty well. Seemed much better than Roland cube 100 in the same venue. I was told the SWR was pre Fender vintage. Any way to determine the vintage? Any comments about pre Fender vs Fender vintage?

I have read that SWR amps use tube pre amp. I don't think this model does. Am I right?

I used one of those SWR Blond acoustic guitar amp once. That thing impressed me too.

I '*think* the Pre-Fender WM12's had the amp section slightly set-back over the speaker section. The Post-Fender WM12's were pretty much square

compared to my Pre-Fender unit:

My amp section blew up so I cut it off the cabinet and turned it into a 1x12 cabinet.

I'm pretty sure the WorkingPro line was introduced AFTER the Fender buyout, not before.

But I could be wrong.

I do know there are no tubes in the WorkingPro products. They are 100% solid state.
