Tascam MP-BT1 versus Tascam GTR1?

I have been checking out the Tascam MP-BT1 for practice because it has the bass cancellation feature. I play bass in my current band, and it sounds like the bass cancellation feature would help me with my play alongs and learning new music. However, for a few bucks more, the Tascam GTR1 works with both bass and six string guitar, plus records. Both units have bass cancellation. So now I am wondering, since I do play both six string guitar and bass guitar, if it makes more sense to get the GTR1 rather than the MP-BT1.

I'll be reading both manuals and comparing the devices and features, just wondering if any of you guys have experience on both these units and could offer up opinions as to what might be a better fit for me. Currently, I am playing bass guitar about 95% of the time and that is my main focus. However, with 30+ years of guitar playing, I don't expect I'll be playing bass exclusively the rest of my life.

Also, I am still open to other trainers and checking out other brands. Thanks for any feedback.
