Hey guys, im debating whether to buy one of thease two amps. I know all about the wattage on the TC 450, and im leaning more towards this one because it has a headphone jack.
Do you guys think I can plug a headphone into the tuner out of the GK RB 700? If you have played both wich do you think is louder?
thanks. |

The TC is attenuated in the low end and high end with a very present and warm midrange. I like them both, but it depends on what you are looking for. The TC is flippin loud for its size/weight. |

Because I just have that little vox amp plug and I cant afford a head and cab all together. Thats why I need a head with a headphone output so I can keep playing til I get a cab. |

I never got used to the tone palette on it, and had to eventually sell it this year - but I will miss its ample volume, among other things. If only the eq was (semi-)parametric!
Did I mention it was very loud? |

When you get enough $, you can go and get the complete package... amp and cab.
I've gigged my RB 700-II for several years now. For my headphone amp I use the Tascam mp3 bass trainer gizmo. I load all my daily practice stuff into it, plug in my bass, put on my headphones, and play away.
