I just checked the screws on the side that hold the amp in. 3 of them could be tightened with my fingers! I tightened them all up (but didn't totally crank them as I didn't want the washers to sink into the wood). It worked. I had it on about 2pm and there was no buzz.
I thought it might be something like that since the buzz was not there and then seemed to get worse. |

Or are these like PC's? if something happens with it, it will normally occur in the first 30 days or so..

From my own experience and observation in this thread, it seems that both the initial QC and reliability of these amps are a little less than stellar...
as far as the "if its gonna break it will do it soon", well that would typically apply to a regular SS or tube amp, but in this case, with the high digital content inside, i think its a less reliable product.. (eg..demo units at both nearby GC locations have siezed up..presumably to static or power glitches) Quote:

I have read on here where one of the most popular setting is the Spectracomp TonePrint with the Tubetone together.. Everyone uses the term Tubetone.. But that is the Tubedrive knob on the back correct?

"TubeTone" is on the RH and other heads (don't know about the BG/BH500). On the BG/BH250 the tube sound emulation is called "TubeDrive." I'm not sure why it's not called TubeTone, but a gut level guess would be that it doesn't use precisely the same technology. To increase the confusion, there's a "BassDrive" TonePrint cand TubeDrive |

The knob is on the control panel with everything else.

Note:I have just finished reading through all 47 pages of this thread
The TC-Helicon Switch-3 Pedal is the one that will for sure work with the BG250 correct? I could not find a Switch-3 Pedal anywhere made by TC Electric so I assume this is the one?
Thanks!

It's the same pedal and the older version is called the G-switch.
