Hey Guys,
I'm thinking of buying a TC Electronic BG500 Combo amp... Two stores in my area cary them except one carries only the 210s and the other only the 115. So I have to choose one and I'm having a bit of a hard time choosing one... Can you guys help me choose between the 210 or the 115? Thanks guys :-) |

Two weeks earlier, I had used the Staccato '51 witha 210 cab. I think the BG500-115 had a better low end than the 210 cab, and it was equally loud. By the way - don't worry about weight! I dithered for weeks, thinking I would be buying a concrete box, but now it's here, shifting it on my own is no problem. Certainly no heavier than my Ashdown ABM combo and as it's got proper handles which make it a lot easier to move than the 'knuckle cruncher' Ashdown. |

For a start, it's much louder and the pre-sets allow me to set up 3 different sounds with my Lakland. First time I've used a 2 x 10 and in my experience you need to drive the speakers with a hefty dollop of output gain to really get a rounded sound. Again, weight isn't a problem |
