| | | | Anyone experience what feature(s) 1 footswitch (TS) and 2-footswitch (TRS) will enable? I'm planning on getting a BH250 and building a mini "fingerswitch" but will not need the mute as it's already on the head. |

| | | | I plugged a 1 button footswitch in right away, hoping, hoping it would mute. It did mute, but you have to cycle 2 clicks to get mute and unmute. Or was it toneprint on and off? Darnit, I forget. But the click-twice thing was annoying, so I yanked the footswitch. Not sure what a 2 button would do. But I'm eyeing a 3 button switch just to gain a 2nd TonePrint option. Digitech makes a nice 3 button that I'm assuming would work fine. $32 at sweetwater. I'll let you know when I get it.

| | | I asked this question in bG 250 thread and dare to ask here. Is the cooling fan of bH 250 noisy? I don't play gigs anymore but play a lot at home. If you play, let's say barely audible , is the fan running fast and noisy or it increase the rpms according to load? Yah I know quiet is a relative term but anyway.
Thanks. |

I use this amp for low volume practice and I haven't noticed any fan noise. I hope this helps.

| | | | I did. Once. But it was an awfully loud stage and I didn't even get a chance to hear what I was playing. But it hung in there with just one 2x12 8 ohm cab. It was cranked and didn't break a sweat.

Not so thrilled I with the bh250 on a jazz gig e night before though, Realist pickup on a nice Romanian acoustic bass. Just sounded muddy...maybe impedance mismatch? Brought the iamp in for the second set and life was better.
It also drives my acme low b-1. Definitely a keeper for practice, and low power electric gigs. Just not e greatest for upright bass.... |

I had an Ampeg micro rig and used the Aux In / Headphone out for quiet practice. Since selling that, I've needed something with this feature.
Since I'm not using a rig live, I decided to sell the LMII (gonna miss ya buddy) and purchased the TC BH250. I found a MF coupon online for 15% off, so got it for $255 total.

I really like the tone of this amp and the TonePrint feature is pretty cool to mess around with. So far I'm liking the "Little bit of grit" and "compression in the mid" prints. Fun stuff.
It also sounds great a super low volumes. Great features, great price...winner for me.

Have been very unimpressed with the 250 combo at GC. I've played it several times.aynd coupled with a different cab it's a different animal.

I bought it in the Holiday Rebate window, so need to send off for the FREE Chorus pedal!!

| | | | No good. Still not working. And ut doesn't explain why when I plug the amp into the computer via the USB, I can't import toneprints because it says it's not connected. 2 weeks and I still haven't heard back from TC Electronics. Not happy at the moment. |
