TC Electronic Finishes - 2 or 3 version

Sign in to disble this ad
While viewing pics of the RS210 cabinets, there appears to be several "flavors". Some have the logo in the bottom right corner, some the top left, etc. What I'd really like to know is how many finished have actially been used. There was the original, matte finish and the newer, glossy finish. I've now seen one that appears to be something in between. It has the logo in the top left corner, and has a finish that certainly isn't glossy, but isn't all that matte either.

Are there 3 finishes out now, or am I really looking at a matte finish that hasn't been scarred yet? The cab is only a month old (of course there is no way to know how long the store had it).

Thanks a bunch

I think there were some "tweener" cabs that had an interim finish.

I think they did three versions:

The original matte finish.

An inbetween slightly shinier finish...slightly stronger than the first.

Lastly, a new much smoother shiny finish - I believe the logo moved on this run to the top left of the cabinets.
