What is this "Units: about 388" deal?

I guess that's about how many they've sold so far. Could be wrong but would make sense.

Really? I figured something like this would be all over the place. How does that number compare to other bass amps sold?

Got no clue. I just play through amps, I don't sell 'em.

388 is the number of units in the serial number range covered by the recall.

Based on their coverage on TB I would think Tbers own more than 388.
