TC Electronic RH450 + Ampeg 8x10?

Sign in to disble this ad
I am shopping for a new head and I have not quite gotten over the idea of bigger is better as far as cabs go. I have a 8 x10 classic and am looking into options not Ampeg (unless its a VR or old SVT 2PRO) I am really into the idea of the TC and I was wondering if the impediance would match with this cab or if it specifically made for the TC cabs?? (I dont know the ins and outs.. I just play) Take over TB let your wisdom overflow!!!

You'll be fine. Of all the micro heads available, the TC is the one with the most ampeg vibe to it IMO.

Impedance will match, no problem there.

I use a RH450 with a 70s 810e. Great rig, works really well for me. Some dialing with the EQ and the center frequencies makes it sound very ampegy (A/B with a SVT II pro) and IMO the high tubetone settings really work well with the 810e. Preset 3 with tubetone maxed and some harsh EQing is my Big Muff.
