...do these have the newer finish or the older finish?...either way an excellent deal, but an even better deal if the newer finish

...only downside is the weight, 82 lbs...

I think, but I cannot state for certain they have the new finish, I just got mine today, not sure how to tell, it is deep black with a mottled finish. AMS was out of stock on this item last week, so what I got was what they received "in stock" last Friday.

They are 8-ohm only, and have a very big, round low end. Kind of like a slightly more refined Ampeg 410HLF.

...I think most people would have to agree...sure would be nice in 2010 to see neo drivers in all their cabs (& for T.C. Electronic to work on additional weight reduction)...would increase prices to a degree, but would likely take an already well-received product line to even greater heights, just imho of course...
