TC Electronics "Epic Fail"

Sign in to disble this ad
Quick and simple

RH-450 died 6 months after purchase, sent in for repair. 2 months later and many excuses "receiving error, holidays, warehouse shutdown ect.....ect...." I still don't have my amp and do not even know where it is at this point.

DON"T BY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, CEO doesn't even have contact info anywhere , even my company's CEO makes his contact info avail and where the top electronics retailer in the Country.

HA HA Edit, WILL BE CHANGING MY SIG!!!!!!!!!

Maybe jeliot should ask them to put the missing 214 watts into the head while he's getting it fixed.

How do you search for a two letter search?

The good news is that they are actually really reliable. I'm unsure about their CS.... but I can't see a sales or tech rep jumping in to save the day any time this decade. That award def goes to Genz.

Hope it works out for you Jeliot and keep a cool head - it's the best way to get max cooperation from the minions.

Use "TC Electronics" in the Google Custom Search option in the the Search drop down menu, works fine.

Aside from plastic knobs, these things are built tough and feel 'substantial' when picking up and putting down.

Every manufacturer mentioned in this forum will have amps fail on them.

I understand your disappointment though.

I totally agree, even when it comes to TC, but seriously, two months in and they can't even tell him where it is? They need to just send him a new one at this point. Anything else is being cheap.

Oh yeah, forgot...the company that makes "450w" amps out of 240w amps...what was I thinking?

Without the usual troll posts, yes, they need to get a move on. I've hardly seen any TC gear problems at all. When I have, they replaced the unit straight away. Might be because it was a UK owner, not sure...

At least there aren't countless owners sending them back...reliability is extremely high.

Ask for a new unit.

My first reaction, too--why wouldn't they just pop one off the containerloads of these things that they must get from China, and make a customer happy?
