TC RH750 or Aggie TH500?

I'm debating on getting a complete TC rig or an Aguilar Rig.
I work in a shop so I can get TC Electronic gear at cost, just I've never played one.

What should I get?

TC RH750 + RS212

or

Aguilar TH500 + DB112 x 2

+1 for Aguilar. The TC stuff always sounds like it has compression on it, even when you don't engage their compressor. I have an Aggie DB750, and am jonsing for that new 4 pound head bad! Love the quality construction of their cabs as well. The TC stuff just isn't finished nearly so well IMO.

The Aguilar db112 and 212 cabs are my all time fav cabs. They sound absolutely great with ANY amp.
My short experience with the TC RH450 is similar to T Bassman's: sounded very compressed.

So I'd vote for the Aguilar rig.

I am very happy with my TC rig. The feature set is simply amazing, and it sounds great to my ear. Never have a problem with it sounding compressed -it has its sound, but it is a very good one IMO. Aguilar didn't exactly get its reputation for being ruler flat, either.

As for cabs, I actually dig my mixed stack a lot, 210/212. The 212 is quite deep though, so buying now I would get a pair of 210s instead.

ok cool thanks for the input, keep em coming.

I've always loved Aguilar stuff but I work in a shop that deals TC so I get killer cost pricing on them, thats why I'm hunting for some opinions.
