I'm curious about the knobs because I've had two RH450's, and never had an issue with knobs or buttons on either of them. Perhaps they had a new supplier later on that had QC issues. I guess I should go ahead and get some extra knobs so I'll be ready, huh? Minor issue it seems to me as long as I have a few extras lying in the gig bag.

Anyway, can't wait to get this one in. I'm going to put it through the wringer when it arrives. I can't wait to take some scopes of the Tweetertone to see what the frequency response looks like at different settings.
Cool! Looking forward to seeing what you think. I love the 450/750.

Tc will send a fresh set of knobs (latest manufacturer) if you contact them

Any rumors about what TC might be releasing this coming year?

I think they might have expanded on the BH amps...eg a louder version of the 250 with the same footprint (ish).

That's would be cool but not something that would interest me. Honestly, I'm not sure what I'd want over the RH750 anyway, except perhaps double the number of presets. I don't even want it to be lighter either. I kind of like that slightly heavier weight versus the 5lb micros out there.

I'm sooner or later they'll come out with something new though that I'll just have to have, right?

Exactly! I'd rather it be 2014 though so I have time to use the 750 more. Great amp, great time, quality build.

The 750 is here and it kills. Duh, right?

Quick note as I haven't followed the threads about this head very closely, but having the fan be on and audible is normal for this head, right? Just wondering because it spun up when I first turned it on, then went off a few seconds later, then came on after a few minutes and hasn't shut off even just sitting here. It's not a big deal at all, but just want to make sure mine is doing what it's supposed to.

Congrats! Yeah, you get used to not hearing any noise with the 450. You can hear the fan on the 750...drown it out!

That good to hear Eublet. Your thoughts and findings on your rh450 over the years really helped me into the TC fold.

I really love the voicing on the TC amps. I think the amps really do remind people of the tones they used to hear on recordings from the old rock and R&B recordings of yesteryear.

The inherent voicing of the midrange is just so damned good.

I even love the voicing of the highs and (non)extreme lows.

Really happy with my class450, but an rh750 will probably be in my future.

I had my RH750 up for sale, but I plugged it in after it sat in its case for a couple months, and it sounds better than I remembered. Not for sale.

The fan is louder on the 750. I've got used to it.

I'm looking forward to seeing this amp on a chart.

Thanks, guys! I took the RH750 to a rehearsal last night, but we were using IEM's only so I just set it up as floor preamp with the footswitch, using my P-bass. Dialed up the Tubetone to around 9 o'clock, and had a good bit of compression going to fatten things up. It sounds fantastic of course. Really love these heads.

The fan is definitely not loud enough to be a bother. I just wanted to make sure that this was expected. I really like the dark black finish on it as well. Very nice!

The knobs on my RH750 broke without even being touched. Went to use the amp one day and the gain knob had cracked in half, without being touched.

I am going to go to Radio Shack and get a different style of knob- looking for the same knobs that are on my Walter Woods, which fit on the RH750.

Used the RH750 for 7 shows the last three days as a DI with an In-ear system and a P-bass. Killer tone as if I were mic'ing a cab in a studio. Sounded absolutely incredible.

When you get the specs of the knobs that fit would you please be so kind as to post the specs here?

The more I play mine, the more I like it. My replacement knobs have been on for a couple weeks and haven't broken yet.

Plus one. Great tone, I have new knobs on mine and they are stronger.

As mentioned before, if TC send you a new separate set they will be exactly the same design but without the flaws.

I wonder if my knobs are the new ones or not? I guess I should just email TC and see what they say. I don't want to be caught without a knob if one breaks, but I'm not after something for nothing either.

Haven't had the pleasure of playing the RH750. What is it's tone profile compared to the SM9.2?
