Never played a TC cab. I have played a GB uber 2x12 and it sound really good. Quality looked good and was pretty light if I remember right.

My opinion, the GB Uber cabs are among the very best sounding cabs, made by anyone.

Pity they're not available in Australia.

Love to try an uber 1288.

I will temper this by saying that the Bergantino cabs are better... and THATS IT. The UB line is the best sounding, most even and LOUDEST "mass-market" cabinets available... and I can tell your personal experience they TROUNCE the TC cabs in almost every way.

I have TC's and they are cool, but I would go Uber for a few reasons:

1) TC's are delicate
2) Genz cs is gonna kill denmarks (friggin Jeff Genzler - owner emailed me yesterday)
3) I believe there are 3 different finishes TC went through - hard to get matching ones
4) Uber's have neo vs TC's ceramics drivers

I personally like the tone of the TC's, but every time I chuck them in a pickup I'm waiting for damage (and I have covers).

As far as the TC's go , add rubber feet and a nice padded cover and you're good to go . Speaking from experience .
