TC vs: Epifani

Sign in to disble this ad
Will 2 2x10 TC Electronics cabs compete with my Epifani UL2 410? I want to downsize my rig, but I don't want to lose the tone and fullness I have now with the Epifani. Any input is welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Mark

I went with the Epifani, for me the Epifani sounded more focused and the bass sounded tighter.

Compete how? The UL410 will have a much different tone profile than any TC cabinets. The UL410 is a smooth, wide sounding cab with an extended low end and crisp, airy top. The RS cabs are punchy, with a tighter bottom end and a warmer treble response. The UL will create a big, huge pillow on bottom. The RS cabs will cut through the mix and give more mid presence.
