Tech 21 B 410 Cabinet

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello!

It is hard to find some reviews or talking about Cabinet Tech 21 B 410; It is 400w, 8 ohms, no tweeter (I don't care about this).
Anyone knows anything about it or he tried allready?
If it is so:
- How are mids, low mids - fingerstyle playing?
- I heared it is more for rock style, but I need also some funky punch; but I like not-harsh sound.
- Could it work goo with GK rb 700?

Thanks for any information you can give...

I have never seen a tech 21 cabinet in person or in use. Those things have to be rare. Maybe in NYC due to their locality, but I'm in the midwest and they are nowhere. I'm not surprised no one is answering this one.

I remember considering getting one a few months ago when Amazon was selling them for under $200. One guy said he liked running a pair of them for a distorted tone, but not a lot of feedback. I think one of the bass magazines did a review on this cab and the matching head when they first came out.

I tried it ... amaizing . Mids in your face, a little less low end (if you have one) and nice highs (no need a tweeter). For distortion absolutly good. But for me: fingerstyle very good, pic (don't use a lot, but it is very good for pic) and slap/pop for me very nice (without tweeter).
For 200 $ I almost can not believe it; they are selling in USA for 540$ like I am seeing on net, in Europe for f.... 730euro, I am getting from a store, it is under 35% of discount, for 470 eur and I will take it .
For 200$ I will take three or four in a minute

One question: what does a "feedback" in a bass cab sound meaning?

Thanks

My mistake, I meant to say "other feedback," as the guy I referred to was the only one who could tell me anything about the cab. Congratulations on a great score!

Had one with my Tech 21 Landmark 600. I didn't like the head or the cab. Cab was way too weak in the lows & sounded very vintage if that makes any sense. I do like vintage but I don't like weak bass
