Terror Bass 1000 power rating

I know its 1000w at 4ohm but what exactly will it be at 8? The head is switchable between the two.

Aren't these heads the same wattage at both ohm ratings? I could be wrong though.

Well the terror 500 is but, 1000w at 8ohms seems a little....unusable for most people I would think?

I suppose so, but it doesn't make sense that they would do both heads differently.

Owner's Manual says that TB1000 is rated at 1000W@4 Ohms and 900W@8 Ohms...
