I recently got an offer for a sunn coliseum-300 head with a SPL 8028 cab, for 450 euro's it's mine, the price is discussable so i might be able to get some off. Would this be a good deal?

Totally. Especially considering the head alone can fetch that much on ebay.

I had a Colliseum 300 years ago. It was stolen on tour. I still miss it

However, i replaced it with a Kustom200 and have not regretted that decision either...

IME, i found the Sunn Coliseums to be a bit lacking in the low end department, but some people like it.

It's going to be my first real amp as well. Playing on a 10 watt practice amp right know and this seems to be a great deal so i'm going for it.

I'm not sure what a Sunn SPL 8028 WAS... but it sounds like a PA cab.

Either way, it should work for you.

Oh, its this.... whatever this is.

Looks like a 2 way speaker enclosure of some sort...

Interesting... i'd probably rock it.

Yeah, a lot of people say they're all mids. Maybe that's why I love my Coliseum so much.
