Thinking SWR Henry Jr, opinions?

While I have never seen or played one, I like the thought of one. And while I really enjoyed the brief times I spent running through the Henry the 8x8, it's offspring has eluded me.

Basically, the situation is, I have 3 amp setups that I use on a regular basis...

1) SWR Workingmans 10.
It's my truest amp, it tells me how a bass REALLY sounds, it never lies to me and it's the piece of gear that I've owned longer than anything else and I won't sell it. It fills my needs for jam sessions in a pinch.

2) GK 800RB and Avatar 2x12.
My gig/practice rig. I love it! Has a great amount of range, is light enough and though I don't have it at home, it's always at the guitarist's house and ready to play.

3) Old Sunn head and no-name 1x15 cab.
This is my drummer's home rig. It makes the classic tone easily... unless you have an active bass. Then it kinda blows.

So while lurking on craigslist, I see the Henry Jr 4x8 pop up and my mind races!

"I could add it as an extention cab for the SWR WM10! That can use a boost now and then..."

"The Sunn rig could handle more clarity with the 4x8 incorporated. Then my active basses could sound good over there, too!"

Even the BIG rig could benefit, as the 800rb is biampable... which I've never done

And of course

"OOOH! A small head and this makes for a beastly little hi-fi rig!

Basically, am I assuming correctly that this could brighten up my life?
If I were buying a head for it, what would be ideal? (Hint: I love GK tone)

And is it likely that this may have bad speakers? I've had some issue with aged SWR stuff, so I'm going to check those, obviously.

I've always wanted a Henry Jr to run the hi amp of my 800RB - with a Henry the 8x8 handling the lo amp (in full range mode). If I ever find the 8x8 first, I may seek the Jr as well. That would be huge. I'd try running the Jr with the 212 on the bottom.

I had the 4x8 Silverado - sounded GREAT but not enough juice to add an extension. The amp's fault, not the cab. I also tried it with several other amps and it sounded consistently great - and a lot deeper than you would expect.

I had a Henry Jr. back in the 90's I thought it sounded great but didn't get near as loud as a 4x10. I'd say if you're going to use it in lower volume situations it'll sound great. BTW, I saw that CL ad as well and thought, that might be my old cab.

It would definitely be used at lower volume, I'm in a 3 piece (currently), as well as it would just handle the higher end duties.

Any distinguishing marks to look for, jb63? Or a reason to run away from it, screaming?

Had one.
It couldn't take near the whipping that the Henry 8x8 does.

So, I had Don at LDS build me one that would using his killin' long throw 8's.
