Three cabs and one Blueline SVT?

Sign in to disble this ad
I haven't tried it yet, but I have 3 210 AV cab's and I'd like to run them with the SVT, with all three in parallel it works out at 2.6 ohms, but this is with one lead, so should I avoid the first speaker outlet and use the second, any thoughts would be great.

I believe the tranny taps require you to use both outputs to get it down to 2 ohms. Thats 2 4 ohm loads, not a single 2.

sedan dad is right. 4 ohms on one speaker out is the limit, then you have to use the other speaker out. it's generally easier on the amp if you go too low with impedance than go too high, but i wouldn't do it with MY blue line. and if you use the separate outs, you'll not only run one at the wrong impedance but it will get half the wattage of the head and the other two cabs will split the other half. so if it were me, i'd do 2 or 4 cabs, not 3.
