Hey, I know everyone hates these questions, but I'm gonna ask it anyway... Which one of these would give me a louder percieved volume and a more present bass...
Ibanez Promethean Combo (by itself) or a Shuttle 3-8t w/ matching 8t extension cab.
Aka: (250watt 1X10) vs (300watt 2X8) |

seriously, i think it's a push, and with cabs that small, more than a little irrelevant.

in that case, without a doubt, the shuttle rig will clean the ibanez combo's clock in every way.

Besides, who wants an amp called Promethean? |

| | | | Thanks. Not looking for a REAL rig by any means, just something small and fun to take around with me. The question of bass prsence is purely dirivative of my inherant dissatisfaction with tone but I would still ask the same questions if considerring a new 810 setup. |
