Time to make a choice now .......

I don't have my bass rig anymore because I just sold my 2 Ashdown MAG cab and I only got my Little Mark Bass 250 head at home but no cab to play around with.

I'm always into Mark Bass stuff and also the Fender Bassman TV combo also cought my eye out as well.

I have two choice now, either buy a Mark Bass Traveler 2x10 and Mark BassTraveler 1x15 to hook up with my Little Mark to make a full Mark Bass rig.

or

Sell the Little Mark 250 and buy either the Fender Bassman TV Duo Ten ot Fifteen.

What you guys think? Of couse if money is problem then the Fender Bassman TV option is cheaper but the Mark Bass cabs is abit expensive than the combo.

Personally? Hmm, tough choice. Id keep the Markbass or upgrade to the LM2/3 then get a 2x12. The NY122 is a very interesting cab from Markbass.

i only consider about the fender because is a combo and i can lure one thing instead of several cabinets. Also i the combo seem very powerful with plenty of volume and give me that old school tone as well.

Duo ten or fifteen if i go for the fender bassman tv?

I know the fifteen will deliver more low end and even more old school but how do the duo ten sound?

More volume than the fifteen due to more speakers? Can it get a good low end just as good as the fifteen?

Which one cuts better for the band situation? 2x10 or 1x15 .....

only tried the 15 so i can't answer. however, don't judge the sound on speaker size. cabs can be designed to do whatever you want, and the one generalization you can make about them is you can't generalize anymore.

actually i forgot to mention that i can get the Markbass Std 2x10, Pre Gibson Trace Elliot 4x10 and Marshall VCB 4x12 all second hand for a decent price.

I probably like for half stack rather than the full stack due to cost.

Both Markbass and Trace cab is 8ohm so the Little Mark 250 i gonna use will be half power but the Marshall cab is 4ohm which will bring the head to full power.

Is hard to make a choice now .......

I like markbass amps (I have one) but I don't really like their cabs.
I've played with the bassman TV 15" and found it really really good. I didn't tried the 2x10 so I can't help you comparing both
